Here at FDM we understand that quality is of paramount importance to our customers and this is why we work especially hard to make sure every garment we produce is of the highest quality possible.
As all of our garments are manufactured in-house we know that we have the infrastructure in place to make sure we can produce, and more importantly maintain quality on a consistent basis. And to make sure we achieve this, all garments are inspected based on an AQL 2.5 standard. Within this process we are focused on the following:
- Fabric weight consistency
- Fabric construction and hand feel
- Colour consistency
- Stitching quality and trims
- Fit of the garment
- Performance in terms of shrinkage, dye fastness and colour fastness
- And perhaps most importantly, the ability of the fabric to take printing or embroidery
On top of this, we have a vested interest in producing all of our products in an ethical and environmental way and for this reason all of our manufacturing is undertaken in a WRAP, SA8000 and Oeko-Tex certified facility. Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) requires that all production is made under lawful, humane and ethical conditions, with all due adherence to environmentally conscious production methods.
Regular independent monitoring by acknowledged testing authorities ensures that standards are constantly maintained. Our production facility has been upgraded to Platinum WRAP status meaning that you can be completely confident on the standards to which all our garments are manufactured.
FDM offers a no quibble manufacturing fault policy
